(Bugle Corps will be in parade)

The United States Naval Academy Midshipman Drum and Bugle Corps will be performing in Concord’s Patriots Day Parade on April 17. Established in 1914, the USNA Drum and Bugle Corps is the oldest active drum corps in the nation.

The Corps is comprised of approximately 100 midshipmen who hail from all parts of the country. In addition to meeting academic, physical conditioning and professional development demands at the Academy, these midshipmen perform nearly 200 times per year at football games, festivals, shows, parades, and military functions.

Upon graduation, each midshipman will accept a commission either as an ensign in the United States Navy or as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.
