Could this be the first usenet posting mentioning drum corps?

any body out there doing anthing with Drum Corps Intl, like marching or
teaching? It’s been a while since I had anything to do with DCI and i am
interested in whats going on. I’m back to teaching a drum line at an area
High School. I’ll probably march for Redding Bucks next summer( any body
else going to do the same).

  1. Hi Flip
My name is Dick Reilly and I marched with the Niagara Militaires from Niagara Falls. A buddy of mine and few of the old soaks are forming an alumni corps down that way. Unfortunately, I’m too old and too far away to join them.. we are having a reunion of the old corps in April and looking forward to that… I have a friend Joe Watson that is still playing and has been in the States marching with Norman Prince etc.
Also have a friend Doug Reynolds, who was (or still might be) a drumming judge,,,recently elected to the Drum Corps Hall of fame… Anyway just a note to say hello..from Canada
